HEALA

We created the Nourished Truth campaign brand with HEALA in 2025. The campaign speaks to doctors, nurses and dieticians in our public health system, and counters industry interference by milk formula manufacturers who employ nefarious tactics like medicalising normal breastfeeding complexities and running career development workshops to gain brand trust.

As part of HEALA’s Nourished Truth campaign, we created this factsheet for healthcare workers on South Africa’s Regulation 991 which prohibits companies to promote certain types of infant formula
and foods.

We restructured, redesigned & rebuilt this website with food justice heroes HEALA. The previous website had become an outdated & disorganised “frankensite” as they pivoted between campaigns through the years, and they were ready for a fresh start. We also reskinned their brand.

In 2024 we had the privilege to reskin food justice warrior HEALA’s brand. We made this little animation to show the transition.

In celebration of Youth Day, we made this energetic animation for HEALA’s socials.

We transformed videos rough shot on an iPhone into a series of perky reels for HEALA’s socials.

We designed, illustrated and edited text for this fact sheet on sugary drinks for HEALA. We collaborated with AI on the character illustrations.

We created a suite of protest posters for HEALA to use at a protest at the South African budget speech.

We created this brand with food justice activists HEALA in 2024. HEALA launched a coalition to engage issues around food in our schools – from feeding schemes to nutritional value to addictive foods.
