We are looking for a top-notch senior digital designer.

Terms

• Initial 3-month contract, leading to a one-year contract if it’s a good fit on both sides
• Full time: Monday to Friday, 9-5
• In-office (Fish Hoek)
• Start ASAP
• R40k-R60k pm

Minimum requirements

You must meet all of these requirements to qualify:

• 7+ years solid digital design experience.
• Vocational designer: you’re obsessed with visual design & comms.
• Strong all-rounder: conceptual, publications, UX/UI, motion.
• Master-level Figma.
• Master-level Adobe Creative Suite (Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects).
• Technically proficient & fast.
• Experience overseeing & mentoring juniors.
• A portfolio that shows range, thinking and craft.
• Progressive values & a passion for human & environmental rights.
• At least two contactable references who you did work for or reported to.
• Able to work Monday to Friday, 9-5, in-office in Fish Hoek.
• Able to start immediately.

You don’t need to be micromanaged, but you’re not a lone wolf either. You thrive in a small team environment where you carry a lot of responsibility. You know how to guide & nurture junior creatives.

You are methodical & hard-working. You see things through, including the unglamorous parts. You want to be challenged and given interesting work, alongside people who care as much as you do.

You geek out on the technical aspects of design work and follow new developments and trends closely. You’re a quick study and rarely use the phrase “can’t be done”. You are a problem solver through and through. You are obsessed with your craft and excited to get started in the morning.
