We designed several Centres of Learning for Photography in Africa (CLPA) digital newsletters with photographic practice development organisation Photo: over the years. Look at one of the newsletters here.

In 2015 we created this exhibition catalog with photographer Thom Pierce. These powerful portraits of people whose lives were irrevocable changed by mining-related silicosis were commissioned by SECTION27, who offered arguments as amici curiae in the class action lawsuit against 32 SA gold mines. Look at the catalog here.

We created this catalogue for visual artist & trans activist Robert Hamblin. This specific body of work dealt with themes of masculinity, capitalism and colonialism. Look at the catalogue here.

This interactive pdf – which includes video messages – was created with SECTION27 in 2017. The brief allowed us to create a bold and engaging design for this important legal civil society organisation. Look at the PDF here.

We designed, illustrated, typeset and handled production of this doozie of a handbook for SECTION27 in 2016. The Basic Education Handbook is the most comprehensive accessible book about the law and schools available in South Africa. In 2022 we took on the second edition as well. Look at the PDF here.

In 2017 we created this complex & data-heavy 400-page book with South African Cities Network. The book reported in depth on selected cities from BRICS countries and included complex maps and tables. Look at the PDF of the book here.

In 2025 we designed & typeset a series of papers on sovereign debt and economic justice with the Institute for Economic Justice. IEJ partnered with Boston University, CESR, the Bretton Woods Project and DIRCO to launch the papers at the South African Embassy in Washington DC. Look at the PDF here.

In 2013 we created this gut-punching publication with Spotlight. In depth reporting in the Eastern Cape exposed a dysfunctional public health system – and featured a story about a baby who unnecessarily suffered and died due to gross incompetence by administrators. The publication was sent to the minister of health who immediately suspended the responsible MEC for health. Look at the publication here.

In 2024 we designed, illustrated and typeset this powerful paper with Corruption Watch. The paper investigates how two pieces of legislation on land rights in South Africa pull in two different directions. Look at the PDF here.

In 2025 we designed, illustrated & typeset this report on the state of TB in South Africa for the TB Accountability Consortium. Look at the report here.
